Can I make payments to pay for my trip?

What do I need to bring on a trip like this?

How do I reserve my cabin?
To secure your private cabin on any of our epic retreats, a deposit is required. It’s smooth sailing from there!
A $500 deposit locks in your cabin, with the remaining balance for the trip due in full 45 days prior to our departure date. So, secure your spot, mark your calendar, and get ready for an unforgettable voyage with us!
Can I cancel my reservation for a refund?
If you need to cancel your cabin on the trip, refunds will only be offered if we can find someone to take your spot. But don’t fret—I’ll roll up my sleeves and do everything in my power to help you find a replacement. After all, we’re all in this together, and smooth sailing is what we’re aiming for!
Can I transfer my reservation?
You have the option to transfer your reservation to another crew member on the same trip up until 15 days prior to our departure.
And here’s the kicker: if a replacement can be found for your cabin, you can transfer all funds paid towards a future retreat for up to 1 year. That’s right, your adventure doesn’t have to end here! But before we hit the water, there’s a bit of groundwork to cover. I’m a firm believer in the power of knowledge, which is why all of my instruction is rooted in the NauticEd online curriculum. Trust me, it’s the best way to set sail on the right foot!
Once you’ve mastered the theory, we’ll take to the water for a series of hands-on sessions tailored to your skill level and goals. Together, we’ll put your newfound knowledge into practice and set you on course for sailing success.

I’m more than happy to conduct your practical assessment up to the level that I’m currently certified. We can arrange for your on-the-water assessment right here in Austin aboard my trusty boat, or if you’re feeling adventurous, we can set sail on a charter in the Caribbean—your choice!
Now, let’s talk logistics. For practical assessments, I charge $325 per day. If you’d like me to travel to another location, just keep in mind that the cost of travel and food will need to be covered as well. After all, a well-fed sailor is a happy sailor!
