Welcome to the crew
What Happens Next ?
Now that your spot is secured, here’s a look at how the next few weeks will unfold. Nothing overwhelming. Just a steady rhythm to get us prepared and aligned before we step aboard.
First: Waiver & Liability Form
You can get the first item taken care of right away. Please review and sign the waiver so we can get that squared away early.

Next: Crew Meeting Scheduling
Within the next couple of weeks, you’ll receive an email invitation to vote on dates and times for our crew meetings. We’ll hold a series of virtual meetings leading up to the trip. These are relaxed, practical sessions where we will:
-
Meet your instructor and crew
-
Review the itinerary and expectations
-
Talk through travel and provisioning logistics
-
Answer questions
-
Begin skill alignment and preparation
We’ll schedule them based on group availability so everyone can attend.
Then: Online Preparation Forms
You’ll also receive access to a few short forms to help us prepare properly for you and the crew as a whole. These include:
-
Emergency contact information
-
Crew manifest details (legal name, DOB, passport info)
-
Medical conditions and allergies
-
Provisioning preferences and dietary needs
-
A sailing self-evaluation
That final piece is especially helpful. You’ll share where you are in your sailing journey and what you most want to focus on during the trip. Your instructor uses this to intentionally create opportunities for you to build those specific skills while we’re underway.
The Goal
By the time we arrive, we’re not strangers and we’re not guessing. We’ll all know:
-
Who’s on board
-
What each person is working toward
-
How to support one another
-
And how to make the most of our time on the water
If you ever have a question in the meantime, just reach out.
