What This Program Is

This is a skills-driven certification pathway for aspiring skippers. You’ll spend focused time on Lake Travis learning practical boat command skills, advanced maneuvers, navigation fundamentals, and the seamanship knowledge required to steer and manage a sailboat responsibly.

Unlike basic lessons, this program prepares you to lead your crew, make confident decisions on the water, and take the helm as an educated and capable skipper. Throughout your training you’ll apply what you learn on real water, under the guidance of an experienced instructor.

Advanced Boat Handling

You’ll practice and refine skills that every skipper needs:
