What to expect …

Expect to have a fully immersive experience! First and foremost, expect to have fun sailing through the islands of the British Virgin Islands with an all-female crew gaining the experience and knowledge you need to feel more confident commanding a sailboat. We will charter a fabulous monohull with space for moments of solitude and connection. Our yacht will have room for each crew member to have their cabin, three heads, a full galley, two helm stations, a swim platform, and a dinghy to make going ashore a breeze.

Plan to participate …

You’re coming out here to learn sailing skills, you can expect to be an active crew member taking part in working the sails, anchoring, cooking, and getting to shore to explore. As well as the master of the vessel, guiding our itinerary for the day, assigning roles, and navigating us to our next destination.

Keep the schedule agile …

Although you can find a rough outline of the week below, we will take time each morning to design a plan for that day. Our primary goal is to make sure we find the conditions each crew member needs to learn from. Weather will play a big part in planning each day, which will allow us to practice using navigation and weather apps to design the next day.

What’s required to join? …

What do I need to bring on a trip like this?

First, let's talk about what NOT to bring. Do not bring a large, hard-sided suitcase. There is minimal space to store stuff on boats, so there is a good chance you would be sharing your bed with your suitcase if you bring this. Go with a soft-sided roller bag or a duffle bag, you honestly will not need much in the way of clothes. Less is truly more in this case.

Do I need a Passport?

Yes, unless you live in the BVI or a British territory. You will need a passport to enter the country, it's best if the passport has more than 6 months until it expires at the time you enter the country.

What's the refund policy?

I do understand that sometimes stuff happens, but at the same time, the cost of the boat doesn't change. In order to refund any money you've paid I ask for your help finding someone to take your place.

Once they've made the payment to join the boat you will be refunded 100%.
